I would bet in Mario Sunshine
Mario 64 already got a DS remaster, soo....
and Mario Sunshine getting a Wind Waker HD treatment would be glorious
Mario 64 needs it the most.
Mario 64 deserves to be introduced to a new generation of gamers. Give it a major facelift, but change nothing about gameplay or level design.
I think a lot of lesser-known N64/GC titles are worth the remake treatment if Ninty could make them happen.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
The game most likely to be remastered to be in HD would be Mario Sunshine. That would be one of the easier ones to do. One I would be okay with it Mario 64. That was a great game, but the visual could use an updating.

Retro has now proven that they can make both good Metroid games and good side-scrolling games...
A remake of Super Metroid or a spiritual sequel seems so obvious...
Nintendo has been making great efforts to appeal to nostalgia...
Super Mario 64 seems like a pretty safe bet...
Sunshine might be harder if the NX doesn't have the sliding L and R buttons that the GameCube controller had...
Whenever they choose to remake Sunshine, they need new content to replace all those stupid blue coins...

If I need to choose what game will most likely be remastered, most obvious would be Mario Galaxy 1/2 not Mario Sunshine, but Mario Sunshine also has good chanches for remaster.

I dont think any N64 is safe bet for HD remaster, they would have incomparably much more work making HD remaster of some N64 game, compared to GC/Wii games, there is reason why only HD remaster on Wii U are GC and Wii games.
Super Mario 64 would need a massive overhaul...

Yeah, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 seem like good ones to remaster, though that one's been re-released and put on the Wii U eshop, while Sunshine has not been touched at all. I think Sunshine has a good chance, unless even Nintendo themselves doesn't even care about that game. It does tend to be neglected a lot.

Remake of Super Mario RPG is all I want.
Something needs to happen with Sunshine ASAP. That poor game has literally been left to die in 2002. Nintendo has paid it dust all these years. We need a remake, remaster, hell just a VC release even. Something! Deserves to be played by way more than ever had the chance to play it.
