Does anyone know what other ways you can use to control this game. I would really love to just use a nunchuck to steer and use the buttons on the chuck and the wiimote. I guess I like the feel of the controller setup, I'm just not a huge fan of motion sensing controllers and would prefer a different way to control that doesn't involve me buying a classic or GC controller.
...
I believe you can use wiimote, wiimote+nunchuk, classic, gamecube, or wheel. Its all up to you.

That would be fantastic if true. I really liked the control scheme of Brawl. I mean I'll get a wheel just for giggles, but I think I'll end up preferring the nunchuk control. Thank you for the information.

$15.99 seems a little high for the wheel :/ .....guess i'll stick with the gamecube controller then. They need to start producing more gamecube controllers for Mario Kart and Brawl .

The Wii Wheel is free with MK Wii. Not sure why you'd want it seperately, maybe so your relative/friends could play with you with the Wii Wheel as well.

I'm a generous guy, so whenever someone comes to my house, I will always offer them the Wiiwheel to play MK with me. I shall use my old Wavebird controller. ;)

You would want another if you want to play local multiplayer.
Sure, the wheel isn't required to play even with just the remote, but it's an accessory and people like accessories. huge money also just happens to be in accessories.
If MKWii is even just as good as the controls for Excite Truck, I'll gladly use the Wii Wheel. I'm expecting the controls to be better so I'll just keep my wavebird reserved for Brawl (and I don't even use it all the time on that).
Well, if the response to WiiPlay is any indication, the first week sales of MK are going to be peppered with the usual crowd claiming that the sales don't count because "People are just buying it for the wheel"... :p
