This isn't a NX scenario. People were getting pissed off with every smallest rumour being made into a thread.
This on the other hand is thread worthy and not some rumour and things get buried in mega threads. Anyway have you not seen all the NX threads popping up again? What about the XB1 s articles? The million Zelda threads that were about around E3?

I'm not sure it's a good diea to spam the front page with multiple threads about the same game, detailing bits and pieces, this is of course why we have dedicated "official" threads to a game and mega threads to groups. Just because it doesn't bother you doesn't mean it doesn't bother everyone.

Yes, it's important for people to see this. I figured they'd wipe the saves too and now we've got confirmation of that.

You can see the future to claim it;s only ever going to be just me?.
If it's fine with you then you won't mind someone else doing the same for other titles in the future.

Anyway moving on.
I wonder if somebody will do a comparison between post and pre patch. It would be interesting to see what the changes are.

Beyond any techinical problems this build has, it's difficult to think of what they could compare without spoiling what the new content and features are. I'm not expecting the radius of the procedural generation to be pushed further out but who knows, perhaps that one thing they could compare. Or perhaps the biome and topography algorithm has been improved so there's another. I should think someone will do it but I'm not going to look at it until I've played the game for at least a couple of months..
