Forums - Gaming - The biggest problem with gaming!

This will probably be a short lived thread, but I have been suffering with this all day today and so here I am venting.

I have been meaning to Ice Creams and Ice lollies all day today, but I have had to put it off. My brother just came home and got me burger from KFC. Yesterday he came home and got me a box of Chocolate Macaroons with salted ganache filling, but I couldn't eat them. It's not possible to eat and game at the same time, and when you are on a roll, you don't want to be distracted or gobble something down without getting a chance to appeciate it (I'm a foody).

So here I am in my living room. The backdoor is open. Buttcheeks (my cat) is meowing chasing moths etc running in and out, I can hear the tranquil sounds of my pond and the water falling into it, its baking hot and I want an Ice Lolly. I know I have Cherry, Cola, Lemonade and Strawberry flavoured one in my freezer, but I cannot eat them whilst I am gaming. I will either have to take a break or have one later.

So you are wondering how I am typing this... well my friend rang and I convinced him to pop over and he is continueing the game for me whilst I ravish my ice lolly. I think this is where having a partner comes in handy. They can feed you whilst you game!

Anyone else have similar problems or am I just a bit nutty?!

Lol. Gaming stops me from overeating for this reason. Can't game and eat and so I'll just have to skip eating a bunch of crap I don't need for a few hours while I play some Rocket League or Overwatch.

First world problem is all i will say here.

I usually end up eating moe snacky things such as peanuts, crisps, chocolate peanuts, jelly beans, although I wouldn't mind having grapes, cherries and other small fruit either.

However, I since I only have one big meal a day I think it should be okay :p

I don't like to put food near my computer or gaming devices. I am also very stern and will go nuts on you if you were to ever spill food/drinks on any devices.

I do allow water though(if it's far away from anything). It's the only that that doesn't leave a stain, doesn't interrupt with gameplay, and doesn't make your hands dirty

to anyone who is interested in reading the entire OP. here is the summary.

"the issue with gaming is that it interferes with me being a fatass"

thats basically it.

Now after getting that out of the way, i will say this to the OP. i agree with you.

Yup, I keep food and any form of liquid away from my devices. Thankfully I sit far enough from them for it not to be an issue! I've seen people spill far things and wrekc their pc's laptops and consoles far too often for me to make the same mistake. In fact I have one friend who dropped his shisha on to his PC Tower and PS3. The coal burning coal and water went everywhere!

No he is Asian as in Pakistani. In the UK, Shisha has taken of hugely amongst the Muslim community. In a way it is like going baring but it is Halal since there is no alcohol. We have about a dozen Shisha places in my city. All of them are fully kitted out with flat screens, mocktails, amazing desserts, huge variety of Shisha flavours with pineapple heads, frozen pipes, apple heads etc. Shisha has become so big in the UK (at least the city that I am from), you have have many native British going as well. Since we cannot smoke in doors anymore, Shisha cafes solve that gap since you can smoke and have shisha.

I also do shisha at home, but I am barred from doing it in the living room. I have burnt the carpet twice. Once it was when I got excited and beat my friend, I yanked the pipe and it fell over. The second time it was my wife who got scared when I made her play Outlast in the dark with the headphones on and she kicked the coffee table so hard, she knocked the shisha over. I miss having Shisha when gaming. You can do it without being interrupted by just keeping the pipe in your mouth lol
