Forums - Gaming - Final Fantasy XV Season Pass announced

a expansion pack is in there too? that could potentially make that extra investment worth it.

Booster pack?.....

I have noticed I rarely get season passess these days, I might get the DLC if it has a fun trophy list or really adds an extra story, like left behind in the last of us or the expensions for the witcher 3, but overall, its very rare I care about DLC

Im looking forwards to FF15 tough! pre ordered it from a english store, with the cheap pound, so will have it 2-3 days after launch ^_^

Sounds really awful, well they need to make back the money some how.

Now that's something I thought I would never see with a JRPG, a season pass.... I thought those were reserved for shooters and other western developed game. Another rather terrible practice is becoming normalized...

Never really liked DLC, but I personally think the practice is horrible for RPGs in general.Sure, there is always exceptions like the Witcher 3, but those work because they are more of a standalone game than an actual DLC.God, I just hope this is not a sign of the downfall of FF.Hope Square gets itself together and make FF 16 with some type of turn based gameplay with a medieval setting(for the most part).Thats what a FF is for me.Not having these DLC practices and all.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I'll likely buy this because I definitely want the whole experience of FFXV. Hopefully they'll add in costume DLC as well.

Nothing wrong with season passes. The problem is publishers selling vague season passes that give you no real idea of what you're getting beforehand. I'm not buying into your shit if I don't know what I'm getting.

For example, CDPR announced it's season pass by telling me I'd get one 10 hour add on story, and one 20 hour expansion with with a new area to explore. Good. No finer details of course, but I get a general idea of what I'm paying for. Then I look at something like this.....episode such and such, blablabla.....ok.....wtf do I do with that? Just a few details would be nice

The closer to the release date the less inclined i feel to support this Final Fantasy.

They aren't creating anything anymore, just playing the field hoping for a homerun.
