The strat of a generation is always full of vaporwares.

Games with awesome trailers with development that has barely started or not at all, or games that are just concepts but there isn't enough to create a fully fledged game.

-Agent
-Project HAMMER
-Tekken X street fighter
-RIME
-Deep Down
-War Devil
-Rainbow Six Patriots
-Raven's Blade

So many games that got delayed so much they changed completely or changed platforms, or both
-FF Versus XIII became FF XV
-Too Human
-Perfect Dark Zero
-Dinosaur Planet became Starfox Adventures
-Duke Nukem Forever
-Prey

The only game that remained the same years later was probably TLG.

TLG is kind of a special case. It feels like Sony spent a lot of efforts in releasing just to save face. People are not going to like what I am going to say, but there is a big chance that this game is going to disappoint a lot of people.

There is a good reason why it was delayed so much, but unlike FF versus XIII who got a big overhaul to get back on track, TLG guardian feels more like Duke Nukem Forever, an game that has aged and is being assembled, patched and released just for the sake of fianlly releasing the damn thing.

Now I'm not saying it will have horrible reviews, it will have much better reviews than DNF, but it's going to disappoint,  and won't be a cultural and critical success as ICO and Shadow of the Colossus was.

What a shame... Both games looked amazing and I was very hyped for them. :(
