Do you need to try incite drama into every thread you post in or are you still trying to deal with NMS's less than stellar launch?

OT, Not sure jow the % of sales is split between amazon and retail in US compared to UK but will be interesting to see the numbers.

I love the fact you've pulled him over for 'trying to inject drama' by mentioning NMS. NMS sold extraordinarily well and is still selling well.

Except it was a genuine question.

500GB about to pass 2TB model. The PS4 doesn't seem to be doing as well though. I haven't seen it at such a low ranking in quite awhile. Happy too see two XB1 consoles in the top 40, though the Madden bundle still seems to be struggling the most.

The advertising and focus at the moment is on the XB1s and the media are talking about the XB1s. MS are also clearing stock of the older XB1s. Next month the media will be talking about either the PS4 Slim, possibly the Neo and PSVR. Sony may opt to just keep the PS4 as is and drop the price OR they may call the Neo the slim in preparation for another console to match the Scorpio next year. I'm inclined to think calling the Neo a slim is not a bad move.

Sony do not need to do anything, just keep doing what they they're doing and stick to their own plans. MS have been chasing Sony for 3 years and everything they do is in response to what Sony are doing. They do not need to worry about what others are doing. Keep a close eye on MS, have a back up plan but stick to your own and adapt a little if need be.

After being $100 less and releasing 3 Slim models and you only claw back 200k maximum in those 2 months, what else do they have up their sleeve? Slim launch with obviously see a big peak before steadying back down. Sony have the Neo and probably a $300 PS4 or best case scenario, Neo $399, Slim $299, old model $249 and PSVR around the corner.

A certain group of people will have to go into overdrive to do some downplay PS4 news next month. It's going to be a fun month.

OT - I'm surprised the 500GB isn't higher. I expected that to be up into the top 20 a few days ago and into the top 10 now, a few days before launch. I'll put it down to people don't feel the need to preorder and will buy launch day. If it's not in top 10 by the end of next week, I don't know what to think. Supermarket pick up?
The 2GB did pretty well though but I expected the 500GB to do better at $300 with Halo.

O dear! Somebody needs to smile! It goes like this :D

It's not genuine when you suggest he's only posting that because he's upset about NMS. Can't you see that?

Old model to 250US$ is a massive drop, would, of course, make the PS4 sell the 20 Millions this year, like Sony expect.

Sales don't matter when the game ends up missing expectations. I don't love EA because their games sell millions after all...

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Yes, Sony expect to sell 20M which is a few million more than they have managed so far. So whatever their strategy is, they expect it to boost sales.

First of all, you have not played the game, second of all, for many, including myself, the game did live up to expectations and many are enjoying the game

So don't say the game "missed expectations" just based off of negative forum posts (which is basically what neogaf and to a certain extent, vgchartz is, just constant negative posts no matter what is being discussed) when you haven't played it, nor do you care about it

That's like me saying the Xbox One ended up "missing expectations" because a shit ton of people were negative about the console

Leave him be. The scorpio news+July NPd+slim+ NMS  has got him down and out. Hopefully the 4.1 tf neo can help out later this year.
