Loved the show and card game as a kid, even had whatever that thing you put on your arm is called, but I lost track of the show and I've forgotten all the rules of the card game. A neighbor kid also had the Slifer The Sky Dragon card.

Yeah I know. Might pick it up if it's on sale.
Yu-Gi-Oh! >>>>>>>>>any other non traditional card game.
I followed the anime until almost half of 5ds then I stopped watching it due to the randomic schedule of the episodes when it was released in Italy. I've seen a few episodes of XYZ and it seems to be still quite good while the protagonist is far worse than the previous ones imho.

Imho Handhelds are far better for games based off Yu-Gi-Oh!, there is the collection/duel factor that makes it extremely similar to Pokémon with the only flaw beeing that duels usually take more time than a Pokémon Battle. Still if Konami didn't go full retard they would have made more Yu-Gi-Oh! games for the 3DS advertising them heavily and banking on them big time. I own a few of DS Yu-Gi-Oh! games and I remember playing them for ages when I was younger. I recall completing the one based off the story of GX at least three times

The Yugioh seires was a weird one for me. The anime and card game were yay for me in high school, but they both kept going, got weirder, more complicated, and just... too expensive. I couldn't keep buying cards, and they became too themed, like the E Hero set. So... I dropped out of it during the GX series. I at least have my warrior deck.
As for the manga, I never really bothered with it. I do know Yugi was a huge pervert in that one.

I use to be a huge fan of the anime and card game, but my favourite Yu-Gi-Oh item of them all for the PS1 game Forbidden Memories. I would play that game for hours when I was younger (although it was very difficult!!).
Love both the show and the card game!! The only manga I read was the Yugioh R which was also amazing.
I hope VR/AR puts this card game to great use in the future.
Game: Loved and played it as a kid and still love and play it today! Invested so much money buying cards and still own them (own a duel disk too ^^). Nowadays I don't buy cards anymore because I think they screwed it with the new rules and pendulum. I still play Yugioh with friends here and there sometimes and it is still always fun! There are also a lot good Yugioh video games. Played 100+ hours in games like Yugioh Power of Chaos: Joey the Passion, Yugioh Nightmare Troubadour or Forbidden Memories. :)
Anime: I loved the original Yugioh anime as a kid and was a huge fan of it. GX was ok. Everything after GX was bad. And the newest one is horrible.
