Sonic Resistance is confirmed for NX, and that was announced like twenty minutes after this. Precedent wouldn't make sense here if they broke precedent immediately afterwards!

 

I'm assuming this is an early spring game so it might actually be out before the NX. That's why they haven't confirmed it yet just to be safe. It'll come out, though, I agree.

it especially doesn't make sense that it isn't on the 3ds. I don't know about everyone else, but sonic platformers are very fun on the go.

yeah i am not sure why it isnt on the 3DS, its not like it cant handle the game. surely it can with ease. and it has the install base to justify it. 3DS also sells software, and this game would appeal to 3DS owners. just seems like a really stupid decision not to release it on it.

Excited for both games. Glad both will be available on PC. I hope they do a better job with the PC port than they did with Generations.

Game looks good, but why not releasing it on PS Vita too? Perfect game for a PS Vita imo.

Weird that there is(so far) no NX version.I mean, if they are bringing the mainline Sonic game to the NX, why they cant port Sonic Mania,which is the smaller titles out of the two, to the NX.



My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

If they said it was "coming to PS4, X1, NX" they wouldn't have been able to include the date.

They will port it later, I am sure. But for now, they need to market it for the consoles you can buy it on.

Sonic 2017 got a Holiday 2017 release date and was announced to the NX.....

Plus, NX is releasing at spring, which Sonic Mania is also releasing at.So it dosent make much sense.

Just hope it gets ported.

The NX will be out by holiday 2017, that's a certainity. I may not be making much sense but it's the only explanation I can find
