Titan X seems like it will be about a 20% improvement over 1080. SLI ranges between a 0% improvement all the way up to about a 70% improvement, depending on the game. SLI is highly variable, some games don't support it at all, others see only a small gain, others see a pretty big gain.
Price is the same for both if you can find some 1080's for MSRP (which is a pretty big if currently). Titan X wins in power draw (250w vs. 360w).

Where did you get that 20% from?
The Titan X (2016) has 40% more cores and +80% higher memory bandwidth. I'd say that it will be at last something like 45-50% faster than the 1080.
