Of course PlayStation and Xbox gamers want Nintendo games, everybody wants Nintendo games. But is it worth for them? Is it worth for Microsoft to put their games on PlayStation if Xbox flops? I really don't think so. I support the idea of Nintendo releasing games everywhere, if everywhere means mobile and PC, because they can grow on both platforms and make enough profits to overcome all the money they will eventualy lose without a hardware. Stopping making consoles just to release games on PlayStation/Xbox is a slow and painful death and I don't really want to see they go that way. I think they are on the right path, NX, handheld device and mobile, if everything fails just go full mobile and make a Nintendo service a la Valve/Ubisoft/EA/GOG on PC. There's also streaming and their huge backlog that still sells very well. They have way better options than doing a Sega 2.0.

The wii U is a mess of a thing, I won't buy it unless its around 100 quid. Also, there games are always so expensive, staying at full retail price for years and not a sale in sight now is there any people trading them back in. Trust me man, I wanna play Zelda BoW and Xenoblade but the hardware I need is shit and overpriced. Can't spend 300 quid for two games, or 250 for a new 3ds and xenoblade chronicals. Just give me and the millions of other gamers another way to play these, Even if it were only on PC under some Nintendo form of Steam or Origon-esk.

Do you realize just how entitled that sounds?

Also, with regards to the cost, if the games are 60 and the system is 300 and those two games are the only two you want (X and BotW) then you are spending 420 for what is probably going to be 200+ hours of entertainment if you make those two games last.  Add in the fact that there undoubtedly would be other games you would want to play once you actually owned the system and we are talking about a couple quid an hour to play the games you want.  And that number decreases the longer/more games you play.

Sure seems like a better way to get the games than asking Nintendo to change their entire business structure to suit your individual desires.

That is funny considering Nintendo games are usually rated the highest.  Sure they have some shovelware like they did last year with Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis on Wii U but it would be a lie to say most Nintendo published games aren't quality.
