Is this the first dead rising on Playstation?

No, Dead Rising 2 and Off the Record were already on Playstation.

Good to see they returned after the last one missing out.  Guess you can't avoid the ps4 if you want big sales numbers.  The ps3 was easier to avoid.

I am sold. I have the feeling it is going to be cheap like RE5, 6 and zombi U. $20 each at release.

Is this an easy-ish or hard list?

Some say 7 day Survivor is hardest.

Answering all the calls from Otis and rescuing all the survivors is also hard.

Aaaah! That's cool. I played the demo on the 360, but even though I liked it well enough, decided to pass on a purchase. Interested to see what form the PS4 version takes.

That's a shame! I honestly consider Dead Rising to be one of the best and most original games of last gen. You shouldn't pass the opportunity to play it if this port happens.

There's a decent chance I will buy it. I remember being turned off by reviews to some degree. Something about the save system? And a time limit? It's been over a decade, but I kinda remember something like that disuading me.

I think the one that had problem with the save system was dead rising 2 plus I played dead rising 1 back in th day and never had problem with it.

You only have one save file, and the game's narrative structure is time-based (being at the correct place during the correct time). This means you have to keep a watch on the clock to make certain things happen; though the game doesn't punish you with a game-over if you choose to ignore it.

Yeah, that sounds somewhat familair. Good to know though. I assume trophies and achievments revolve around the time/placement mechanic to some degree. Or Items, perks, costumes, ect.

Technically, you can really get every trophy in a single playthrough, but this game is oriented for multiple playthroughs: it's short (it's a seven-hour game, as the narrative structure goes for seven real time hours -which are three days in-game-), you keep your progress for each playthrough (everything you've done in one carries over your save file, which means, for example, that if you've dressed up with half the items of the store, you only need to find the other half the second time you're playing), and sometimes you'll be too underpowered or under heavy time constrains so that you'll have to sacrifice one of two sub-plots, which might void a trophy altogether for that playthrough.

Regarding something you said, yeah, certain trophies revolve around time/placement. But as I said, if you ignore the main mission, you have seven hours to pretty much do everything else.
