You only have one save file, and the game's narrative structure is time-based (being at the correct place during the correct time). This means you have to keep a watch on the clock to make certain things happen; though the game doesn't punish you with a game-over if you choose to ignore it.

Yeah, that sounds somewhat familair. Good to know though. I assume trophies and achievments revolve around the time/placement mechanic to some degree. Or Items, perks, costumes, ect.

Technically, you can really get every trophy in a single playthrough, but this game is oriented for multiple playthroughs: it's short (it's a seven-hour game, as the narrative structure goes for seven real time hours -which are three days in-game-), you keep your progress for each playthrough (everything you've done in one carries over your save file, which means, for example, that if you've dressed up with half the items of the store, you only need to find the other half the second time you're playing), and sometimes you'll be too underpowered or under heavy time constrains so that you'll have to sacrifice one of two sub-plots, which might void a trophy altogether for that playthrough.

Regarding something you said, yeah, certain trophies revolve around time/placement. But as I said, if you ignore the main mission, you have seven hours to pretty much do everything else.
