The original poster in the other thread cherry picked his information so that it looked like a worse situation than what it is. Has this generation been a bad one for Nintendo? Absolutely. But considering there's still 8-9 months before the NX comes out, there's still time for the company to earn more money in this generation.

My thread was made to inform people of something I thought they may not know, as I myself until this morning also did not know. I'd also like to know how I "Cherry Picked" my information. 

The response has been absolutely appauling, I created a thread discussing the operating profits of Nintendo, posted facts about that, gave my opinion that it was likely the WiiU causing the operating loss for this generation and that the situation would improve next generation.

Then my thread also asked the question of what people believed the reason behind the operating loss to be incase they thought it was something else to me, to give their opinion, and by extension how they believe Nintendo should have, or will in the future have a much better operating income.

But people like yourself suddenly get extremely upset and claim discussing sales on a sales site is pointless and unnescessary.

The behaviour by some towards that thread has been pathetic, it was not an "anti-nintendo thread" not a "doom thread" not a thread comparing Nintendo to any other company and it was not made in response to any other news or current happenings.

Absolutely awful reaction.

How sure are you about that?

This is the second time in a month that a wave of positivity for Nintendo was accompanied by a negative thread of yours. Is the timing really just coincidence? Judging from your behavior, I'd say you should examine your subconsciousness. If you didn't know about the information until this morning, and it obviously wasn't a recent news topic, then you either went out of your way to dig up the information or you randomly came across it on some forum. In either scenario though, something drove you to bring the information here and make a thread about it.

100% sure. I was scanning through Zhugeex's twitter history as people were making statements that Nintendo would recieve a small proportion of the earnings from Pokemon Go and I know he has been posting a LOT of information about the game and I recall him giving a figure of how he believed Pokemon Go would impact Nintendo in the current fiscal year, then I came across the graph which he posted just a few days ago on his twitter. After all the discussion of "nintendo should go third party" I was very surprised to see that in the graph Nintendo had actually had an operating loss this generation so far, as I believed and evidently from recent discussion on this site many others believed that while Nintendo hadn't performed too well this generation the WiiU had at least brought in a profit. So I created a thread to provide information that I thought most did not know to generate discussion on the situation, what nintendo did wrong in the past and how it will grow stronger in the future.

But yeah instead I get labelled as "anti-nintendo" meanwhile a couple of Nintendo fans immediately come into the thread and say that discussing a companies financial figures over the course of the current generation is "irrelevant" on a SALES site, but I am the biased one. Who is guilty of only posting facts that I believed people may be interested in.

But yes I apparently had an Agenda and my BIAS is clearly visible in that thread!

Though with the 3ds getting on in years Nintendo has to replace that system too, assuming the NX isn't a hybrid. Yes I came across the information while looking up information on Pokemon go, how I came across the information is not relevant to the reason the information was posted, it didnt matter what I was looking up. If I was willing to be deceitful don't you think I would have conveniently left that piece of information out?

Anyway, as anyone can see the thread was not anti-nintendo just because it contained facts that were negative. I have a history of both praising and slating Nintendo, because that's what someone who isn't biased does. But in the future I will make sure not to post negative facts as that is clearly an agenda.

Now excuse me as I take a break from this site as I don't feel too good about being told what my own motivations were and being wrongly accused. Good day.

I'm going to request a ban, this site isn't doing my anxiety disorders any good, at least not today. Apologies to everyone for the arguing and the ranting, I shouldn't have bothered trying to prove my intentions.
