Anyone else rich now?

If I had money, I would have bought Nintendo stock back when investors ditched their stock when it was found out that the first Ninendo mobile game was going to be miimoto -- in fact, back then, I suggested to some people I knew to buy some Nintendo stock because I knew they would dominate mobile if they so chose to enter the market.  It was around $16 dollars a share at the point I think and now it's around $26.

Nintendo's future lies in mobile.... their potential in that market is just absurdly high. They have so many strong brands that would do phenomenally well in that sector.

I thought it was $198 per share. Or is that something else? I'm just really getting into the stock market.

Edit: Nevermind, http://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/ntdoy

And Nintendo have multiple IPs that can earn them a shit load with very little effort. I just hope they don' stop making hardware to chase the mobile market. If NX fails it could be an option.

I think their handheld future lies in mobile and their current hardware markets will end up being unified into one platform, so they'll have three businesses in the future: mobile, dedicated hardware and QoL -- that's not counting their increased push for lisencing and toys.

I finally convinced my father to invest on Nintendo's stock so we should be able to capitalize on the growth given by the release in Europe and other countries...

Yeah, I'm not sure how succesful their QoL business will be, but I certainly expect Mobile to soon make up the majority of Nintendo's Revenue and Business, if done correctly it's going to make them a fortune.

what I'm wondering is if this will push Nintendo into another frenzy like in 2007 when their prices shot up to $70+ a share.

Yeah, that's why I said that mobile will essentially take over their dedicated handheld business because Nintendo's handheld business typically does the financial heavy lifting for the company.

Definitely the biggest mobile game since Angry Birds/Candy Crush. Nintendo did really well here with being innovative with the mobile camera and GPS.
