Pizza Hutz will lure customers.

I cans see fast food joints making an absolute killing along with Nintendo if they were to do some sort of deal. Like turning all fast food places into gyms or battle towers lol.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Epic.
Look like biggests Nintendo success from Wii.

It looks like investors want Nintendo to put their IPs on other platforms ...

It might even be their wet dream to see Nintendo dish out AAA online focused games for HD twins and PC ...

If I were a Nintendo investor and a scenario ever popped up where Nintendo had to leave the dedicated hardware business, I'd rather they invest everything into mobile instead of dividing their attention with traditional gaming platforms because mobile doesn't need high production games and the demographics for that market play to Nintendo's strengths.

If this isn't an isolated incident Nintendo's future is not in dedicated games hardware. Incredible.

Not good for those of us who fear them going overboard with watered down ios games.

It could go one of several ways, maybe iOS/Android game profits are so good that Nintendo's hardware division has less pressure and as such they can kinda do with NX as they please ...

Orrrrrr ....

The stockholders start to pressure the board of directors to move away from dedicated hardware if they're making huge bank off iOS/Android platforms.

If Animal Crossing iOS/Android is a huge hit too, it's really going to heighten the issue very quickly.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't. Animal Crossing is the perfect IP for Mobile, assuming it's done right. The previous games in the series already suit mobile as is, they just need to make a few alterations as regards to how it is monetised and social interactions.
