Only series that I would buy a console for 100% of the time would be a new Super Smash Bros, Mainline Pokemon, Fire Emblem, or a real Paper Mario.

Others that I would consider buying a new console for are The Legend of Zelda, Assassin's Creed, 3D Mario Platformer, Mario Kart, Persona, or Mainline Dragon Quest.

I got the Wii U to play Zelda... but now I'm getting the NX for Zelda lol. I used to buy Nintendo handhelds just for Pokémon too, and I did get the Wii just to play Wii Sports.
