Looks like Sony has known for a while since we have seen and heard less from Boyes and more from Shawn Lydon over the last year.
What if Boyes joins Shahid?!
Also, from what I gather, Boyes started as a playtester for EA, worked at Capcom and runs a company called Beef Media to help smaller devs get into the games industry. I'm not sure if he ever actually created games, but seems like he has enough experience to head up a studio.

That sounded like a bummer, until hearing about his reason. I didn't know he was a game developer, unless he's giving it a shot. That seems cool, and I wonder what sort of games he plans to develop in the future.
