It's crazy how many some of those 8th gen exclusives are just pretty versions of 7th gen games. Oh well.

I'm assuming it's not accurate. Part of me is sure Uncharted 4 should be there by now.

Can we count the remasters/remakes as exclusives? I mean, if I can get a copy of the game for another system, is it really an exclusive?

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Uncharted 4 probably is technically but it has yet to be updated by VGChartz (I assume that's what the OP is using for a point of reference)

the detail added by the OP stating that they were only counting physical copies sold too is relevant too, as something like Halo 5 for example  supposedly has sold a ton of digital copies

anyway, not a huge shocker, Nintendo obviously tends to do quite well with their first party software (which has been a big part of why third party developers get turned off from working with them. A third party like Rockstar is going to be more excited naturally to put their game on a Sony system and for it to be the star rather than release a game for a Nintendo console thats largely ignored in favor of Zelda/Pokemon

anyway

Yeah but they are exclusive to the 8th gen consoles and even without the remasters and remakes there are just more nintendo games so i sorta wanted to make it fair for the other 2 consoles.

Handheld domination, no surprises there..

Nice to see Splatoon will take spot #3 for list not including handhelds

Not when you consider that two of those remasters were mass bundled with the best selling console of this gen. And there weren't too many alternatives available.

Nintendo systems have less competition for an open world sandbox game like GTA, Wii U just has two AC games, a Lego game, a late port of a Batman Arkham game and Watch Dogs while PlayStation also has Just Cause, Infamous, Saints Row, ELder Scrolls, Fallout, Witcher 3, Mad Max and so many others.

And when game releases are as sparse as on Wii U there is little reason to choose one over the other, you can have both unlike PlayStation where so many games are released every month that a new game can get lost in the crowd.

GTA games still have legs though and that's only due to their quality, or else GTA V wouldn't have continued to sell so well years after its release despite so many new releases, many of which are very good.

Nintendo exclusives have always sold well there is no reason for that to change. Although Uncharted can surpass MK8 with some luck.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
