So who do I have to blame for this turd?

Mario & Luigi RPG.
Wait, when was difficulty a thing people complained about in SS? Everybody complained because there was zero reason to battle, not because we thought the battle were hard.
I swear this whole game is being developed in a vacuum. Even when GameXplain interviewed Tabata she clearly hadn't even considered that fans wanted a TTYD remake or a game in thar style.
You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt! I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading. After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

Blame Nintendo and punish them by not buying the game and encouraging others not to buy the game. Also, make it clear why you don't like the game.
Same should happen with Federation Whatever.

Who knows where did the Club Nintendo feedback go ¯_(ツ)_/¯
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
Can't wait for its for Paper Mario: Pixel Rain. The game will have a retro gaming as its gimmick in order to mask the low budget it'll get because of how much of a flop this'll be. Don't worry, it'll still be 60 bucks.
I'm now filled with determination.

The game was obtuse, filled with backtracking and had obscure puzzles. Just look at the gamexplain review of Sticker Star, where the reviewer admits that multiple journalists contacted him because they were stuck. So no, the game isn't being developed in a vacuum and they already adressed a lot of feedback: you can hold more "stickers", thing "stickers" don't take up mutliple places in your inventory and you don't need to return to the town to turn the things into "stickers". Those changes alone should make the game much more streamlined and less obtuse. And finally, there is a reason to battle: to increase the paint capacity of your paint hammer. It's also the only way to get minion cards.

The Club Nintendo feedback said most players weren't interested in the Super Paper Mario story, that is why they ditched it with Sticker Star.

They're probably holding it back just so they have a Wii U game for the holiday season.
On the bright side, this at least means Intelligent Systems isn't tied up with this game anymore and is free to work on something new.

Hopefully a traditional Fire Emblem game with visuals on par with Tokyo Mirage Sessions (and increased voice acting). Just less loading times please, lol.
