Two big youtubers promoted a CSGO gambling site pretending that they didnt know about it but they actually owned the site without telling anybody and now the truth is coming out. Also the accounts they gambled on were bots so they could never lose.

I don't have much sympathy for people who lose a bunch of money from gambling. But I do think those CS Lotto shysters need to have the book thrown at them for being deceptive and failing to declare their direct interests in the site they're promoting. And if some forensic computing shows they manipulated things to show them winning big, then they need to do time. And even though I have little sympathy for gamblers who lose big, illegal gambling operations that appear to be legit need to be shut down. There needs to be some sort of actual active policing of this stuff and not be left to people to bring law suits.

I read somewhere that they are under investigation.

This is all very sketchy, but who the hell is dropping huge sums of money on cosmetic items in a video game? And then using the skins as chips in online gambling? What happened to just buying a game and playing it?

Is pretty popular that its a 2.3 billion dollar industry. I also know a few people that do it.
