No, its not nice, bigger budget = better game. If this game nbeeded to sell 5 mill to break even you can bet it'd be a much better game |
Goodness no! GTA V had a huge budget, I find the game horrendously dull.

More tame than the bars pubs like SE set for themselves.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
can they even make the money back with only 2,000,000 copies.

Can't agree with you, there. Even with games I dislike (I loved GTA V, btw), I can see why someone else would like them . I think that when a game is done , it's done. As long as Zelda fulfills the creator's vision, there's no need to throw more money at it.
Not going off topic, I hope, let me ask you this: if GTA V was a letdown for you at its current budget, would it be a better game if it cost less to produce?
Wow, that's a lot lower production costs than I expected for BotW. Western developers need to learn a lesson from Nintendo on this. I just think that there's something seriously wrong with the industry when selling a million copies of a $60.00 game (that has nowhere near as much content as BotW) can't turn a profit. Nintendo is definitely a good example for other developers to follow.

No, it would be a better game if it weren't filled to the brim with cutscene fetch quests.

good? from a technicall perspective it doesnt look impressive, compare it to games like witcher 3.
From art perspective its looking good sure, but even indie games look good if they have a great artstyle.
Example?

full voice acting in multiple languages?
motion capturing?
Real World textures?
Live Action trailers?
VERY easy. They wouldn't have even needed to port Zelda to NX to hit that number.

Yeah. AAA companies tend to overspend on superficial things because a lot of the time their games, when stripped down to their fundamentals, are typically very derivitive and add nothing to what's already on the market. If you can't convince someone to buy the 6th main installment to a franchise in the last six years with gamplay, then pay an exorbiant amount to mask it and pretend that its something brand new.
