It is because it's a scheme and in fact not worth beeing a payed service

 If you have the full facts and full sense you would know that what Sony and Microsoft are doing isn't right and it's just corporate greed.

You insulted people becaause YOU thought they didn't have the facts - yet you got upset when you thought you were being insulted. How is insulting a GROUP of people any different than being insulted?

And that is my opinion? I love when people think i have the word of God and it compels you. It's always good to know, but i have a conviction on the opinion i formed. It is fact for me. Wether it is for you its your own deal.

I insulted no one. I verified a fact. There are millions more people paying for somethiing i consider a fraud. Is it a crime to say so? Get over it. I gave my opinion. I disagree with what those millions are doing and i will say it.

Ignoring the fact you seem to not know the definition of gullible(yes gullible, not gullable) or duped - YOU started this thread by insulting people. You started it off be calling people sad, gullible and saying they were being duped. You came into this thread to insult people - and then immediately played the victim card.

I am actually glad that playstation is giving out mostly indie games. Because they are giving out NEW indie games. I much rather get a game that came out that month - than one that game out years ago.

On PS3 most of the PS+ games I already had because they were several years old and I bought them already, but unfortunatelly I don't like many of the Indies.. it could be better to balance both, but that is a valid criticism. Even Shuhei said he think it's sad that a lot of the PS+ games aren't even downloaded.

You imply they are ignorant, do you have any evidence? You assume everyone is choosing it because they are dumb, duped, ill informed, etc, are you certain that is the truth or simply people evaluated it and decided they wanted it anyhow? I didn't see anyone calling you Nintendo fanboy, they just asked if you would have the same opinion if Nintendo done it, why not only answer it and let it go (because you are the only one still bringing this back all the time when you were only questioned once about it).

I pay for PS+. Even through months when my console(s) wasn't with me. Does that mske me stupid, or lacking sense, ignorant and a lost cause? 

I am not even going to bother to tell you why i pay for it or what I habe gained in the 4yrs I've paid for it. Not going to bother telling you how like everything else there are deals to get  even a PS+ sub for less than advertised.

I don't know you, but going from ur posts in this thread I  can at the very least say i don't like how you talk.

There is nothing wromg with sharing your opinion, noyhing even wromg with hating PS+ for hiding online play behind a paywall. But if you are flaunting some sorter of better than all knowlegde and not once aknowlegde that there are those (like me) that pay for PS+ and seldom ever game online then it means you don't have all the facts. Before the PS4 was released 3M people paid for PS+. Online was free then, what does that tell you?

I think its stupid a company like nintendo has this laser focus on not seeming to do enough or care for third parties. I think barring any great innovations thats ehy they will keep playing second fiddle to sony and MS. But i will never call the people that buy nintendo consoles stupid, ignorant, lost or whatever. And in this thread thats what you have done wrong.

That is not true. There was no personal insult. I didn't say to any one person to this thread in particular anything with that post. I voiced my opinion. I guess some decided to include themselves in and feel threatned or something? But i really have no control over what groups posters decide to include themselves in. There was nothing personal about my post. 

I don't know what to tell you about the rest. When you know something is right do you withold it just because someone might decide they want to take offense with that even though it wasnt particularly aimed at them?

This whole conversation has run its course and has turned into victimisation because i don't share the opinion "lets all be happy. Sony is making money!". I don't see reason for celebration. Sorry, its my opinion and people just need to live with that. I feel like i need to say that it's ok to disagree.

Man, if you can't see how many insults you have throw in here then I'm sorry for you. Or for you not naming but saying all that bought it are gullible, duped, etc isn't a personal insult to each and everyone that have done it just because you have said it to all and not individually?

As Intrinsic have said. You could say you don't see value in it, that Sony is greed because of it, that people shouldn't pay for it, etc and that would be your opinion without insulting anyone. What you said was saying people that bought it are inferior than you because you see it as wrong. You are taking the high horse, holier than all aproach on that.

I think it's a bad use of money to buy a console for only 3 or 5 games (total or per year) yet there are a plethora of people that do that, should I because I think I'm wrong say they are all stupid by buying a console for so little entertain,ment? Nope, I may just disagree of their choice and say that they could have choosen a different option that would give them more bang for their money. New game cost 60 on launch, used 5 after 2 years. Since paying 1/12 of it is the smarter decision should I call everyone that pay it on launch an idiot.

And you kept assuming that people took that choice because they are dumb or ill informed instead of having different opinion than you or valoring money in a different manner.

Honest question here: what are these full facts you speak of? Are there numbers to go on that state that the online paywall is all a scam? I'm Googling it but can't find anything solid.

OT: I've been paying for PS Plus for maybe four years now, and the free games have been great for me. I think early on, the majority of games on my Vita were from plus, and it got me engaging with the online store much more and gave me a reason to never discontinue use of my Vita or PS3. And I actually enjoy Powers. As far as comic book TV shows go, it feels miles above anything on the CW but lower than anything on Netflix. So I've definitely gotten my money's worth without being an online gamer.

I would say that their only misstep was PS+ plethora of games not making people wanting to own a PSVita

The costs for mantaining servers are extremely low today and can be covered by the physical sales. This only becomes a problem with heavy traffic, aka the more hardcore online players. What the paywall does is make everyone pay the same for different useages to justify the excessive use. This ofc also affects how active in the long run online communities can be.

That is why i say what i do. But apparantly is causes alot of disconfort.

What i have also said is that if you got it for the games its fine. The service is worth that (if you find them worth it). But the paywall wich is used behind the online gaming acess does not in fact benefit anyone but Sony's financials. It doesn't benefit the games nor the consumers. It's a way to fish people into the service even though it doesn't benefit anyone. The online games's service detiorate's faster because the pool is smaller than it could be. Thing like longer queues and servers closed after a year or two due to inactivity, for example.

Lol do you not understand how business works?  when Sony decided they would go for paid online they were in dire straights financially.  They need that ps plus money to assist SONY to be profitable.  It's not just about PLAYSTATION being profitable.  They are not Microsoft who are swimming in cash or valve.  The sooner you understand this concept the better.

I remember playing online for free(ps3). Despite the fact that only about 25% of my games had multiplayer. I remember the numerous outages some lasting upwards of six weeks. I remember not having cross game chat with friends. I remember paying full price for my digital games. When I got my PS4 I also got a subscription to PS+. Because 75% of the games I get now have multiplayer. Now I enjoy a stable online experience. now I enjoy chatting with any of my friends at any time. now I enjoy 4 free digital games a month(no Vita)and a reason to turn on my PS3. I now enjoy having discount on all my digital purchases as well as regular sales on digital content. Apparently all these things mean I was duped because I'm gullable .
