The actual games don't need any voice chat when playing with randoms but there should be a party chat for when your playing with friends or in game chat when you private squad, Even on PS4/X1 random matchmaking people never even use microphones anymore and if they do its usually just someone who left there mic open with music playing or screaming kids in the background you have to take the hassle of muting.

I see no reason to why the NX won't have party chat and I fully expect it to.

I agree that they desperatly need modern community features like voice chat/group chat, better systems for messaging and playing together, etc...
I DO NOT agree that every Nintendo game NEEDS FULL ONLINE integration. It may fit some, but not all of them. Also it would need to be implemented the right way, I think we all know some games that really didnt need the multiplayer modes that got crammed into them.
But hell yes, the NX better have modern console features, its getting annoying Nintendo!

Well if it lacks a party system like Xbox and no achievements etc.... then I probably won't buy it either. In this day and age those features should be as basic as it gets. Every game doesn't need mp but a lot of Nintendo games could easily implement it.
