I always saw RE series as a Playstation franchise, not a nintendo one. We all know that Capcom has gone multiplat, so it was no surprise to see all the resident evil released on the GC, its Capcom, come on buddy, we all know Capcom was out to make more money. How do I know? Because the RE4 exclusive came to the PS2! Hell Capcom even went as far as porting to the PC!
And I don't mind seeing RE5 on the Wii, I'm not gonna buy it, anyone saying that RE works better with a Wii mote has to be kidding.. thats like saying Halo works better with a Wii mote. I'm getting mine on the PS3.
Wii owners must know how crap RE5 is going to look if they do manage to get it.
And Onimusha12, i don't understand why you hate 360/PS3 so much. I hate both the Wii and the 360, but I still own all of them. Nintendo's First party was enough for me to own it (disgusting 3rd Party games lol). And the 360 has nothing i like other Lost Odyessy and Mass Effect. I know I'm a PS3 Fanboy, but at least I don't let that get to me. If you wanna play a game that bad, just get the bloody console!
Really some games just belong to certain consoles. RE5 belongs on the HD consoles.

Yes, I am bothered by it. I think that anytime a big game is on the Wii it's a complete waste. Big AAA games should be for the console that can handle them, not the Wii. Small AAA game with low development costs and niche status should go to the Wii and DS.

Totally agree here; low spec consoles should be deprived of BIG AAA games, like the PS2. Ohhhh...

When's the last time the PS2 received a high budget game?

It still gets the holiday stuff like Guitar Hero, Need for Speed, Fifa, etc., but those are titles that release on several platforms.

It doesn't matter when the PS2 actually did get these AAA games, the point is that "the X platform cannot handle big AAA games" is a dud. See FFVII:CC for the PSP.

Riot implies that big AAA games should stick with the HD consoles due to the fact that Wii cannot handle them with wich I completely disagree. Games like DMC4 would never actually work on the Wii, although a FF or a RE game certainly would.

Either way. Its seeming more and more unlikely a Wii version will ever be made. Does anyone think Capcom will show the good faith of porting this to Nintendo's next console?
