You know, I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with you about the game possibly being better if it were on the Wii, although I definiatly don't want to admit that. What do you think the chances are that Capcom puts this on the Wii? Do you think it would actually be the same game just with Wii controls? This is something that has me worried. We've seen before that multi-plat games are at times completely different games on the Wii. If that happens with this game, I don't think it's worth it.

The thing is that if RE5 is ported to the Wii, and works, it would prove the viability of the Wii, even for games that are supposedly too much for it.

I have faith in Capcom's ability here. Remember, most ports made for the Wii in regards to games made all across the board, the Wii is typically given the same consideration as the DS or PS2, a cheap cash-in. If effort was actually put into a unique Wii version it could work. Clearly this petition assumes they will, if they don't, then it would be in your interest for this game to get ported as to put to rest any hopes of such games gracing the Wii in the future.

Usually petitions don't really work, but almost 38.000 signatures is a LOT, there's no denying.

Peitition was what made Okami Wii what it will be. I have faith in this one as well.

 Well, if they use the RE4 engine to make a RE5 port (Of course with proper mods) I would buy the Wii version, but if the Wii version is a crappy port, I would buy the 360 version (An a 360 of course)
