What is up with your avatar? It keeps changing.
I already had high regard for Monolith Soft team, but now the bar raised even further.
I just hope this does not hold back the schedule from their next game(developed by their internal team).
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

They've worked on every main installment since SS so it's no surprise as they're also a utility studio for Nintendo and often help work on other projects. They've worked on Brawl and Smash 4 as well.

And Pikmin 3 :3
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

If I had to guess, they were probably still in the early stages of development for their next game and since it doesn't seem like they work on mutliple projects at a time yet (have no idea if that 3DS game is still a thing), a lot of their staff are probably just waiting until development of their next project goes into full production. If that's the case, then it makes sense that they help out on BotW for now instead of sitting on their butts doing nothing.
Also, I hope Monolith Soft convinces the BotW devs to impliment fade transitions for objects to avoid jarring pop-in like we've seen them do for Xenoblade and Xenoblade X.

Well, it really depends on the size of the project and how many projects they are making at the same time.I mean, their team is much bigger than I though(at least 100, with high chances of being much higher).Plus its already been one year and 2 months since they finished development on XCX.They must be in the final phases of early development, if I had to guess.

It was going to be open world before Monolith joined, but Monolith's experience with this kind of game makes them ideally suited to helping out.
