We have right now a thread about how the power of Scorpio is irrelevant, another about how 4k is a scam, another about how Scorpio won't be capable of 4k, or any big improvement in performance over XbOne/PS4, two or three threads telling how Phil Spencer is THE WORST in the industry, and how all that he say about Scorpio is confusing and stupid... The downplaying of the last Microsoft E3 is real and tangible more than ever, people can't concentrate in two or thre threads to talk about Scorpio, they need make thread before thread saying essencially the same, bassically this is nervous talk

I'm very suprised about how much hate the MS conference have generated, and the only conclusion I can reach is that Scorpio can be a really atractive product, that can sell very well, and maybe if fans or other systems are so worried about Scorpio, the other competitors are too.

This is VGC, is pretty damn hard to be a Microsoft/Xbox fan here, there is an horde of people prepared to smash every news related with xb within seconds, wether they are good or bad is insignificant.

Agreed, I can't help but think if Sony was making the Scorpio and MS was making the Neo, the reaction would be completely "haha, Sony's awesome, one-upping MS again, enjoy your crappy upgrade XBox fans, wait for Sony Scorpio it's going to be a BEAST!".

Yep, I think that particular case would be exactly like that.

Its sad, but not really surprising.
Oh and lets not forget all the threads about NX being dead on arrival, needing to fail, being the worst thing ever, etc...
Nintendo didnt even say anything about it, and yet all these threads exist again.

This is how gaming has been for a long time. It's not a recent thing. It's been a constant back and fourth as long as I can remember.

Saturn owners were bashing Sony, Sony fans were bashing the Nintendo for yang cartridges, Nintendo fans were hating Sony for stealing final fantasy, the list goes on.

This is nothing new. It's simply a by product of the gaming industry unfortunately. I just try to ignore it and enjoy the games, in spite of the rabid fanboys.

Xbox community is dead on this site, they all vanished once the X1 flopped.

I know that VgCh is like that, but with Scorpio the reaction is really overwhelming, there's a ton of people making threads and talking, and talking to reinforce themselves, and that is with more than a year of waiting, and with incomplete info about the thing, is like "you really need 8 threads about how wrong Scorpio is and how unnecessary all their specs are?", I can't wait to next E3 when the first games will be shown running in Scorpio, the mess will be huge.

The number of X1 fans here is irrelevant, my point is Why so much attention for a product so wrong, that you  wont gonna buy anyway?

Yes, the answer is "because is not wrong, it's attractive, and I fear that Microsoft can punch hard this time"
