also, you use your production server for testing and development? Where are your test and development environments? I want my six sigma availability, as agreed in our SLA!
so you actually need at least 3 servers, with the test server acting as a back-up server...

Thats what I figured.
Yes I am rather vocal of the changes, as they dont reflect my idea of top notch design - which is a very individual thing, to be sure. Also, I am vocal as I care about the site. If not, I wouldnt care. However, look at one of the game pages right now...it is a mess.
If you rather wish me to leave, then thats fine. Indeed there are sufficient other people using this site.

A better-coded version of the charts they had before would be lovely as well. I'm excruciatingly disappointed in the fact that they're gone now.

theres already a thread on this but IMO it looks WWWAAAAYYYYYYY better. Theres more data and its put in an easy to read chart format.

There are ALOT of benefits to having a format like this - most particular, load times are greatly reduced and, to be quite frank, many people don't WANT to see every single detail everytime they view a game. Other people may be curious about the exact sales timeline, summaries, comments, etc. - those areas will still be available, just not crowed all over the main 'game profile' screen...

Considering the fact that this site is primarily about gaming sales, and it's called VGChartz... it seems that those things should be "crowed" all over the main game profile screen.
Just a thought.
Anyhow, so long as the charts come back in some way and the layout of everything is tinkered with and perfected, I'll be happy.
I still don't understand why you guys would put out a beta as a replacement for the previous working setup.
