Forums - Gaming - Social media study shows Microsoft presser at #1; Zelda as most popular E3 game.

The study was and is still being conducted by business site Brandwatch. To tell you the truth I have no idea about the merits or reliability of this study but numbers are numbers weeeeeeeeeeeee.

Microsoft press conference was the most talked about in social media (Tomatito posted this one):

On the game front, Zelda has obliverated everything else. Its not even close, as you can see (was already posted by Miyamotoo here):

There are many other interesting snipets of data on their site and more are still comming. If you are interested heres the Link.

Wow. Why is M$ so far ahead of Sony? Is it because of the new hardware announcements? The relative proximity of a lot of their games' release dates, maybe?

I would've been surprised if Zelda wasn't the most popular game. As for Microsoft as most popular conference, I'm not sure what to make of it. I found that Sony's conference had more worth talking about. But I guess Project Scorpio and XB1 Slim beg to differ.

I dunno, but I did find this ...

Marketing intelligence firm Synthesio also sent out a press release that claims Xbox One was the top console in terms of mind-share on social media.

In a statement, the company’s global marketing vice president Leah Pope said that “throughout E3 there were more than 3.7 million mentions and conversations occurring online [about the event].”

Most of that conversation was about the show itself, but the systems took second place with 20 percent of all discussions.

“Specifically, Xbox drove the most buzz with 74 percent of all online mentions about video game systems,” said Pope

Trailer was certainly very well done. Hope it translates to a great game as well.

I think it's more of the first option. I think.
