I don't get why so much hate on MP:FF. I hate the chibi look as well, but come on, if there's something Nintendo has taught me over the years, is to not judge a game by its looks... Metroid Other M looks gorgeous on the Wii, and it is heavily critizised (only Metroid I have not yet played). Zelda WW was killed instantly when first shown, and it's my favorite Zelda ever...

I'm actually excited for FF, we got so little info on it, I'm curious about the story. Wish it would not have chibi characters, hate the aesthetics, but I trust so much the guys from Next Level, they did such amazing job with Luigi's Mansion DM and Punch Out Wii.

On the other side, I'm glad DQ8 is also coming, I am a DQ fan after the DS games, I am currently playing DQ6 and love it so far, 4 and 5 were so much fun, and still have to play 9. I wish we could get a bit more info on 8 though, I'm afraid 7 will not sell well, specially in europe, since the 3DS is dying already and europe is not a big fan of JRPGs (at least not lately). I'm afraid they decide in the end not to bring 8 after all. But well, they already announced it, they never cancel localisations... (look at Devil's Third). We all have to buy this two DQ games, this may bring us in the future DQ11 as a swang song for the 3DS (or as a launch title for the NX?).

Unfortunately, at least for me, there's no way they's bringing DQ10 overseas, even if these DQ games sell a million each. That game is going to stay in Japan forever :S

You know it's not only about the chibi-ness of the game. Search about it and you will find that there are lots of reasons people dislike FF.

If I was Nintendo, I'd cancel it. I'd say "See, you whiny bitches. We tried to keep the series alive and build the fanbase but YOU complained so much. We're not bringing it out and we're never making another Metroid. Suck our Ninten-dicks."

I love Metroid and definitely don't want Nintendo to kill the franchise but at the same time I'd love to see Nintendo do something like this, preferably with Samus' Amiibo Party getting announced right after.

What a Shame this game wasn't a Wii U/NX title, with good online and better graphics I think it could have sold well and made the fans happy...
