God, that looks amazing. Their live footage was nothing compared to the newer footage and info. Good stuff.

Could be. I'm not certain. And to be honest, I don't care that much. The art direction, scale and the global illumination are what makes this magical for me. I would be more than happy with a more stable version of Episode Duscae. There got to be some sacrifices somewhere.

I wouldn't call Duscae graphics a sacrifice as it will be the most beautiful JRPG to date lol. I really like the art directions overall too, I just regret some design decisions including the ship looking way too "pacific rim" for my tastes (at least compared to classic japanese mecha design).

The scale of the world and more importantly (especially compared to games with bigger open maps) the variety in environments might make it one of the most beautiful and complete universe in 3D video game history, combined with SE's expertise in story telling.

Episode Duscae has its share of graphical shortcomings. AA comes to mind. Also framerate issues. But it was beautiful indeed. I would be surprised to see some of that in the final build as well. Agreed on the rest.

Both of those trailers look freaking awesome. A bit over 3 months to go!

Yes they look beautiful.
Yes i am still skeptical.
It's like watching a gorgeous woman or man whom hasn't opened her or his mouth yet. You don't know if their voices will please you nor if they have anything interesting to tell.

I am afraid it will all be flash at the cost of substance. But that's just me.
