Optimization is always the last thing done in software development, and especially for games. You can expect the last few months to be purely dedicated to optimization. Nintendo also never releases high-budget games with framerate drops these days.
From what I saw the game looked pretty great. Could just be the stream acting up ( I heard YT was worse off than Twitch in this regard).

I'm sure the NX version will probably run fine. Wii U? I'm not so sure it's that high of a priority.
Many Wii U games drop frames at points so nothing out of the ordinary here.
Super Metal Dave played it and tweeted that it has dips into the low 20s. Also said it was playable despite that.
I noticed the frame drops during the stream, it looked like something between 20 and 25fps. But when watching the videos Nintendo posted I almost didn't notice it. It was probably due to the stream, but even if there are problems, there are 9 months till release, so they will probably fix it.
It's still in development. You really think Zelda, of all games will have frame rate issues when this releases?
