Did Sony win E3?

Yes 278 74.93%

No 93 25.07%

Total:371

I liked how they did their presentation.

However, most games were lackluster to me =(

The entire VR section was ugly, Call of Duty as well. Hype for Crash and as it turns out it's just remasters and Skylanders..Detroit Becoming Human.. I have no idea what to expect from this one God of War is always meh to me, FFX looks real bad, Kojimas game didnt say much. Wont be ready until 2018 at earliest.

What was good however, Horizon seems cool, last guardian with a release date and days gone could be really really cool but looks like it's inovative like you know... a mario platformer.

Last years was a lot better. At least the games.

Lots of interesting exclusives for me.

A God of War that I actually want to play. (the older games got really boring for me after the second game.)

Days Gone looked really awesome. That's how a zombie game should be. Hordes swarming after ya.

Horizon. Definitely getting that. Looks like a lot of fun to play.

Spider-man was a suprise because it looked really good. Hopefully, It turns out to be a good spider-man game.

I already decided to get The last Guardian after last E3.

Detroit got my attention. I like detective type games but I'll have to see more gameplay.

I'll have to see gameplay from Kojima's game before I have any real opinion about it.

The VR stuff looked kinda cool. I'll have to see more gameplay of those games before I choose to buy any of it or VR.

Nintendo *used* to do this. I still say that their E3 2004 was the best E3 presentation ever. They need to get back to that stuff lol.

I agree. I don't care whether E3 is relevant or not, I still loved many of Nintendo's past E3 live conferences and I hope they'll come back to making them again.

What you want and what's good for Nintendo are 2 different things :P

True: trailers can certainly sell your game, no gameplay footage needed.

As if Sony (and Microsoft) didn't show any gameplay XD

God of War - gameplay
Horizon: Zero Dawn - gameplay
Detroit: Become Human - gameplay
Resident Evil VII - gameplay
Days Gone - gameplay
Insomniac's Spider-Man - gameplay (though less than the other games showed)
Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR and other VR games - gameplay

Only games we haven't seen gameplay from are Death Stranding and Crash Remakes.

Bethesda's > Sony

Yeah, Bethesda's content was interesting (my favorite conference between the 3rd party publishers this year) :D

Though I feel it was held down by not having gameplay from either Quake or Prey.

What made it so good for you, that it topped Sony's?

Dishonoured 2 is like my most anticpated game this gen so seeing that in motion really did it for me. And then theres Prey... that came out of nowhere and just ..wow

Dishonored 2 looked really good. In Axum's thread I gave Dishonored 2 best demonstration of E3 because of how much (great) gameplay we saw of it.

Unfortunately Prey (and Quake) had been leaked beforehand and we didn't get any gameplay from those 2. Still seems to be promising games though.

Personally, I can't place Bethesda's conference above neither PS nor MS. I feel that those 2 showed so many potentially great games and they had gameplay for nearly all of them.

Considering the difference in the amount of content showed, I guess you didn't like the majority of content in the PS/MS conferences? Or do you rank console manufacturers' conferences differently than 3rd party publishers'? I considered whether I should do this, because naturally a manufacturer will have more content than a 3rd party publisher (especially considering Bethesda's size).
