It does suck that a lot of the stuff was leaked, but in the end it doesn't really matter. Nothing really mind shattering was shown that we didn't expect. The two best things, imho, were State of Decay 2, and the Halo Wars 2 beta launching today. And those were both games we knew were coming. I watch E3 more for updates and looks at content coming out for already released games, and for games I already know are coming. I don't care for stuff about games years away.
Xbox One S - I like the idea of a smaller console, but I hate the white color. Also the price is not that great, imho. Though, considering it plays UHD Blurays, $300 is not a bad price at all. Depending on how much I can get for my current Xbone, an upgrade to this one is a no brainer. B+, would be an A if not for the horrid color.
Gears of War 4 - Gears to me really marked the beginning of next gen gaming during the 7th console generation. It was fresh, and had brilliant MP. Since then though, its formula has been copied by many other games. It's become more and more scripted. I loved the Gears 1 campaign, didn't even finish the other two. I made it about 10 minutes into Gears 3 before I was too bored to continue. But one thing it has over most of the similar franchises is online co-op. I thought the demo looked great. The weather effects were awesome. The weapons looked fun to use. I've experienced the MP beta, so I know it's solid there. B+
General Raam in KI3 - Don't care, I am pretty much over fighting games.
Forza Horizon 3 - I guess this is about as close as we are going to get to a next gen Motorstorm this generation. And this is one of those games where even though it was leaked before the show, it was still an incredible demonstration. Haven't bought any of the Forza games this gen, this will be my first. Looked real good. A
Recore - A lot of us figured this would be a smaller title when it was announced. The video looked ok. Looks like a downloadable title. Needed to show more gameplay. C
Final Fantasy XV - Horrible, horrible demo. Had no idea wtf was going on, looked boring. They should have picked something better to show imho. But, I really don't care about Final Fantasy at all, either, probably wouldn't buy even if it looked amazing. C-
Division/BF1 - 3rd party junk with no gameplay shown. I am guessing Ubi is leaving the details for the first Division expansion for their own show.
Clubs/Music/Language/Arena - Slightly interested in Arena and Clubs. The LFG stuff is awesome though. About time that was built in. Maybe it's an app. B+
Minecrazzzzz - It appears I fell asleep just typing it out. Not my cup of tea, my 9 year old was very psyched though.
Gwent - I am looking forward to this. Not much was shown but it didn't really need to be. I am wondering if its a network title or full retail release?
Dead Rising 4 - Looked awesome. Also looks like it might be a timed exclusive to Microsoft, abd will eventually come to other consoles. Can't wait though. A
Scalebound - Like the FF demo, just looked too chaotic for its own good. This was co-op though, I thought the last demo we saw of SP looked much better. Still keeping an eye on it, the SP stuff is about all that interests me unless the MP starts looking a lot better. C+
Sea of Thieves - Surprisingly good, though very barebones. But online sea battles... how can it not be amazing? Can't wait to see some quests and on land gameplay/combat. B
State of Decay 2 - Very little gameplay shown, but the original SoD is probably my pick for most underrated title of last gen. It was amazing. The possibility of online co-op in SoD is awesome. A
Halo Wars 2 - Not a terribly high amount of gameplay, but a very cool video and a beta live right now! This is what more companies should do during E3. A
Xbone Scorpio Edition - I have said multiple times I don't want them to waste time with a marginal upgrade and that is exactly what they are thinking as well. Appears to be a huge upgrade, capable of 4k gaming and VR "with no compromises" or whatever Phil said. Having Todd up there talking about Fallout 4 VR on it... please. I need it in my life. A+
Overall: I would give it a B+. A great conference. Not a lot of surprises, but what was shown for the most part looked great. At least what appeals to me most. I thought Final Fantasy looked terrible, but I don't care much about Final Fantasy anyways.
Also, in that reel of upcoming ID@XBox games, there was Hand of Fate 2. Should be incredible. Anyone who hasn't played the first, check it out. I think it was a GwG game recently?
