Who said Wii U is expensive? It's cheap, but not worth the price. And calling Poland a poor country is absurd. We're not as rich as the Western countries yet, but we're close and are closing the gap very fast.

It may have been ignorant, but that's what happened. Lets not forget that back in the day the demography of gamers was different than it is today. Those were still the days when gaming was for kids. And teenagers have this thing that they want to feel so grown-up and mature and reject things that in their mind are "meant for kids". There's no doubt in my mind that GCN fell victim to this in America and in the West, arguing this is being in denial.

Nope you arent, if poland would be so rich there wouldnt be so many polish immigrants all around europe seeking for better life. I have never worked in any company so far without meeting a polish immigrant.

And these new censorship laws are alarming too in poland

Yeah... When was the last time you were in Poland? These people left Poland around 12 years ago, when we entered the Union and the gap was big. But now it's different. Our economy grew by over 40% since we entered the EU - despite the crisis. Get on with the times, my friend. Consoles or 4K TVs aren't considered luxury over here, they are common things. And there are many immigrants from Spain, France and Germany in Poland as well - that's what a common market gives you.

What censorship laws? I have no idea what you're talking about, there are no censorship laws introduced in Poland - and I'm a lawyer, so I'd know. A German shouldn't mention the topic of censorship. In comparison to Poland there is no freedom of speech in Germany. We are terrified by how your government controls your media and brainwashes the society. It would be inconceivable in Poland. When it comes to freedom of speech and censorship, you are in a stone age in comparison to us - Koeln was a brutal example of that.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I just hope Nintendo can find a place for itself in the market; it doesn't need to beat Sony or Microsoft for it to be a profitable and worthwhile venture.

I would say the odds are against it, but I'm certainly not writing it off. Why on earth some people seem so anxious for the console world to consist solely of Sony and Microsoft is beyond me lol

Agreed, the NX is dead on arrival.

We know next to nothing about all 3 of them. A bit early to be making claims like this,

Lmao, no it's not. NX failure is quite predictable. Nintendo have made a terrible job marketing and promoting it so far and the only third party game we have heard about so far has been Just Dance.

Be honest, was your account created for the sole purpose of shitting on Nintendo? A quick glance through your 50ish posts would suggest so lol

Yeah. That's what they get for abandoning gamers in favour of casuals with the Wii.

Only around one third or less of the Nintendo published titles in Wii were so-called "casual" software.

During the Wii's lifespan, Nintendo published no less than:

3 Major Mario games

2 Major Zelda games

2 Metroid games and the Metroid Prime Trilogy compilation

2 Kirby games and the Kirby Collection

A Mario Kart and Smash Bros.

They resurrected properties like Excite racing, Punch Out, and Sin & Punishment

They brought Wario Land back AND on home console for the first time

They had new installments in series like Batallion Wars, Paper Mario, Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem

They brought us a new Donkey Kong Country game

AND they funded The Last Story and Pandora's Tower, and published Xenoblade Chronicles

I just kind of fail to see, in all of that, how they "abandoned the core gamer". That meme has been BS from day one, and while they DID focus on "casual" software last gen, the fact of the matter is, there were more games I (as a so-called "core gamer") was excited about and actually wanted to play, than on N64 and GC combined.

This is what they offered, but that gen core gamers wanted HD graphics and more mature content. Honestly, compare that list to the core games on PS360 - it's nothing, a droplet in a sea (numberswise). And yes, it's on Nintendo to secure good 3rd party support. And you don't have to convince me that these are quality games - Wii was the first console I've bought that gen and I loved it. But I remember the shock I went through, when I finally purchased a PS3 and I see how Nintendo put core gamers to the side and focused on the sea of casuals. These consoles offered a totally different experience - Nintendo's problem is that the market they secured that gen left for tablets and phones, while Sony's customers are still gaming on consoles and want similar experiences.

I think that Nintendo will be aiming the console at the market they aimed the Wii at.

Obviously it's not going to be as successful as the Wii itself, but Nintendo still hold a lot of good will with the average consumer. Nintendo's own exclusive output has never been as strong, and with times between releases we know that they have a lot in the pipeline.

While it's probably not going to push numbers similar to Xbox or PlayStation from this point on, due to 3rd parties not being fully supportive, they will do well enough to continue making games and platforms.

Continung developing games maybe, but continuing manufacturing consoles, I don't think so. Nintendo will probably become a third party publisher in the near future.

If they actually make a platform that is affordable and profitable from an early stage, then Nintendo will have no real problems when it comes to manufacturing consoles.

I really, really don't think they'll make the same Wii U mistake again.

What a horribly stupid, myopic post.

NX is launching with E3 2016's most talked about game. There's so much more to learn about NX before we doom it.

Mark my words - most people really won't have any real reason to upgrade to Neo or Scorpio if they don't have real exclusives and if the PS4 and X1 continue getting support. They'd rather get the NX to get Zelda - along with everything else Ninty's been holding back from us.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
