that was a lot of PS3 games.. Correct me if iam wrong, but i have a feeling that in those kind of lists that sony often have a lof of games and it dosent always reflect the later popularity of the games, isent it?

I believe that motorstorm was in the top 20 on Famitsu most wanted list but it "flopped" commercially.

Motorstorm, Gundam Musou, and Virtual Fighter 5 are all former "Famtisu Most Wanted" games for the PS3 that flopped

gumdam musou sold 250 k copies .it was at best at no 4 on famitsu top 10 chart.

blue dragon was at no 2 after being put on the same par as FF13. It mega flopped in Japan with sales even lower than that of Resistance at 132k copies.

VF5 and Motorstorm were never on the Famitsu top 20 list.

However both MO and VF5 sold more than lost planet and 360 version of AC4 in japan.

You could probably call Motorstorm and Virtua Fighter 5 flops, but I don't think you could say the same thing about Gundam Musou. It may not have sold a million copies or anything, but it moved quite a few copies.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

all those ps3 games in the list would sell atleast 500k copies.

LO would sell a decent 100k no doubt.

the top 4 ps3 games in the list are all expected to sell million copies in japan

yea around 45k extra ps3s were sold during the Musou launch weeks.

VF 5 moved around 5k units and so was Motorstorm.

It's great that PS3 has alot of games up there, but most of those games are at least a year away from release.

I'm very interested in the sales of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass in Japan. Maybe it gives the series a new boost because of that mass of DS owners.

And how sure is it that Resident Evil 5 will be released for the PS3? I mean, Capcom can't be that stupid to support Nintendo all through the (saleswise) dark Gamecube days and just change the platform when the wii takes of.
