Forums - Gaming - Bethesda E3 thread- 7 pm PST, 10 pm EST

You guys probably missed it, but do you remember that awesome intro, that seemed like an old pc booting up?So, in that intro it seems like they hint at a new game calles "New Colossus" that seems its possible that its a new Wolfenstein game

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Well, I saw the show and thought it was so-so. I didn't really dig their announcements that much, but that's likely because I haven't played any of their games nor have interest in them. Oh well, it was interesting nonetheless.

Yep:

The setting for TES 6 was basically confirmed tonight as well, if you follow leaks.

Really?I havent been following the leaks, tried to keep those damn leaks and rumors to a minimum for E3.Which hint they gave at the conference?

Technically no, but it is in all but name.  And E3's official conferences will be largely the same.  Structured for fans but fans aren't allowed in.  Except maybe Square if they do it like last year.

What I mean is, since it's not E3, Bethesda can do what they want.  EA can do what they want.  They don't have to conform to anything, really.  Does E3 have anything to do with it at all other than cross-promotion?  I'm not sure, to be honest.

E3 has started, but sure, keep making excuses for Bethesda and apparently even E3 now. But no, EA already did their E3 presentation, but that totally wasn't E3. It was...uh...you know, not E3 but at E3 but still not E3. Ya know? Believe it or not, E3 is not defined by the first presentation between Microsoft, Sony, or Nintendo.

You really have no idea what you're talking about, do you?  Ouch.  E3 2016 | Electronic Entertainment Expo - June 14-16, 2016.

Now, read the date again, slowly this time.  Do you understand now?  E3 doesn't control individual press conferences.

Everything in this time frame gaming related tagged as E3 is E3 at this point. The event as its defined by the main hall opening and the event as its defined by presentations and game announcements are two very different things. If you have to get that technical to play defense, you already lost whatever this is.

Oh, but Microsoft has their presentation tomorrow and so does Sony. Not E3, of course, because it isn't the 14th yet, so we can't judge them if their presentations are bad. Wait. That sounds pretty silly, doesn't it?

They announced the Nuka World DLC for Fallout 4. Nuka World was first leaked alongside TES 6: Valenwood last year on an internal Bethesda letter of phrases employees weren't allowed to mention. Also on the list was Project Greenheart, likely the codename for TES 6: Valenwood, Greenheart is a city in Valenwood. I'm definitely expecting an announcement next E3, alongside Wolfenstein: The New Colossus and The Evil Within 2.

Thanks! It will certainly make for a great E3 next year.

Defense?  What are you talking about?  You're being childish.  My comment obviously was about the E3 expo, which hasn't started yet, likely having little control over someone else's conference.  What are you even saying?  You're not even making sense.

This show should've been an e-mail to read tomorrow. Not worth staying up for it.

Two new games (Quake and Prey) plus getting to know that Doom and Fallout 4 will come out in VR, I think it was a great conference.

There are gonna be tournaments to see who can play Doom VR the longest without throwing up or fainting. First record to beat will be 2 minutes.
