Yes, every precise number comes from me.

CosmicQueso shared some general ranges for hardware and Uncharted which I gave precise numbers for.

Creamsugar and John Harker are both MIA and they have been for the past two months.

Just registered today to say thanks to Aquamarine.

Welcome to Chartz :)

If you see a bunch of Crow avatars its because we all bet on whether or not the NX would be released in 2016.

Crow users lost that bet, so dont mind the crazy avatars if you see some here.

Thanks for the numbers Aqua! A pretty good month for the PS4 with nice YoY growth thanks to UC4. So under 900k digital with bundles in the US not bad at all still growth in the franchise and it has over 1 million with digital so that is a great first month for the final entry in the series.

The PS3 and 360 also had quite the month I see lol. Everything else is meh and bad hardware wise. Great sales for DOOM though and Overwatch must be HUGE on PC and digital!

It will outsell The Last of Us, don't you worry. Uncharted averages 9M per console game.

1) The avg. is 7M

2) TLOU is well over 10 million LT PS3+PS4 (Well over mean "WELL" over that, like it could be even 12m for what we know)

It's not gonna be that easy for Uncharted 4 outsell TLOU...

1. 28 divided 3 is about 9M I think.

2. Sure? Sources say 7M for the PS3 version of TLoU.

28m figure includes the psvita game and the PS4 trilogy game....

Alright so 1M between those 2.

Wow, hello Aqua.

This is making this NPD more exciting even if we don't get any niche game sales :P

OP updated with all info! Thanks Aqua!

NPD threads have been a helluva lot more interesting in recent months. Thanks Aqua for the info, and Boutros for the OP! :)

Think about it this way for Overwatch:

Overwatch sold 50-100K PC retail sales. That's HUGE for PC retail nowadays.

Since PC retail is such a small fraction of the overall PC market (less than 10%), you can project that for a title to achieve a whopping 50-100K at PC retail, it must have HUGE digital sales (at least >700K on PC digital in the USA).

Only if we can have digital sales tracking. I'm beginning to feel digital sales are now a lot more than what we all expect, especially with things like preloading in effect. All 6 of my friends and I got the game digitally (we actually get all our games digitally cause we are based in the carribeans).

Just think of it, it sold 2.7M first week, did 800k for the month in NA, even if it does 1.2M eveeywhere else thats still around 500k-700k digital sales. Thats aroumd 30%!!!!

30% sounds about right for Uncharted 4 digital share. So when you include digital Uncharted 4 is approx. 1.17 million for May USA sales.

Remember, digital keeps slowly creeping upwards. In 2014 digital downloads were 15-20% of total sales. In 2015 it was 20-25%. Now in 2016 it's 25-30%.

Nice, I calculated 1.13mil first month for NA right before requesting uncharted numbers from you in this very thread. Maybe I wouldn't be so bad at data extrapolation.

To calculate 30% digital, you wouldn't multiply by 1.3, you would divide by .7

I see many people do this, and these give two very different numbers..

In this instance, 1143k vs. 1256k

Edit:

Maybe you're just including non-bundle sales in calcs, but just wanted to clear this up as I see people do this quite often.
