Found a source, it's just not as extreme as you described :P |
Alright i may have fabricated a bit lol.
You are the first person in the world to say Uncharted is too hard, realy.

I wouldnt take him sriously if I were you. If I am not mistaken, he said before that he likes to exaggerated in things to see the reaction and I think this threads is one of them, otherwise, why hasnt he responded to the thread yet?
Some people are good at videoGames and enjoy the challenge While some are not very good at videoGames and get stressed out.

I've only played Uncharted 3, but I thought that game was pretty easy. I hadn't played a shooter with a controller in years, either, and was pretty damned rusty. How could you be having so much difficulty with Uncharted of all games? Have you gone to a friend for pointers? There's clearly something you're doing wrong.
Also, why would you post something like this on a gaming forum? You know what the reaction is gonna be. Are you some kind of masochist?

I also tried to get into the Uncharted series by playing the first game and the sequel but I did not like them because I found the gameplay pretty boring. Set pieces and pretty graphics do nothing for me. Though I found the characters charismatic and the story was kinda interesting (especially in the second game). Regarding difficulty I did not find the games very difficult.
I haven't been here that long but I feel like I've read this post before...

I have to concur.
In the first game I hated the amount of quick time events.
I got sick of the Ladders breaking in Uncharted 3, it was like almost every single damn one.
And I still hate the linearity of the entire franchise, it's a game that would probably benefit transitioning to an open world, the 1-note combat can get tedious.
Characters were amazing though, the voice work, the motion capture, the attention to detail on the models were always top notch, Uncharted series leads the gaming world in this area in my honest opinion even when compared against technically superior PC titles.
The story in the first game set-up a great premise it felt like Tomb Raider and Indianna Jones had a baby and that turned out to be Uncharted... And for some that's an exciting premise, but I am more into the whole Sci-Fi thing than Zombies created by an artifact in a temple somewhere, but that's personal/opinion and taste.
