Forums - Gaming - Well I'm giving up the Uncharted series forever.

There's this mode, easy mode, just hit a switch. The game's way easier on easy mode.

I jest, in good fun, and mean no malice, I just couldn't resist. I've never found the games to be hard, but I know people do not like the way the game's control. Platinum'd all of them, so played through on Crushing, I don't think 3 and certainly 4 wasn't as hard as 2 but I may be mis-remembering. But if you're not getting it at 2 though, you're probably best off leaving it be.

This is why I just watch TV on my Xbone. Games are just too bothersome. 😥

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

Weren't you the guy who was complaining about a lot of games being too hard, and later promising to stop trolling or something? I mean, it's OK if you don't like the games, but this sounds awfully familiar.

Uncharted 4 was my first Uncharted game I played and I gotta say, I didn't have any issues that you've described. I had more issues with the amount of wall scaling but other than that, it's a masterpiece. I'd reconsider playing 4. I haven't played 1-3 or Golden Abyss and don't plan on getting a vita to do so but I'll go back and try the first 3 for sure. Hopefully they're not as bad as you've hinted. (Gulp)

You still can't aim?
Never have heard someone say Uncharted games are hard rofl Even Crushing isn't that hard. There's an option with auto aim in Uncharted 4. Always wondered whom it might benefit but now I know lol

First game is pretty difficult/cheap on normal difficulty, compared to a lot of 7th gen action games. Also, poor use of checkpoints makes the game even more tedious.

The sequels are easier on the same difficulty setting.

When I first got Uncharted Golden Abyss, I thought to myself that this one ONE GREAT series and had a desire to get all the games. So I did.

Uncharted 1,2,3... I got them all. Uncharted 1 was GARBAGE to me, very unrealistic, the enemies were impossible to kill (about 5 seconds of machine gun shots and they still pick up their weapon and kill you in 2 shots) but thats ANOTHER thread I made earlier. In that thread I proved how bad the game really was. It was WAY TOO HARD to enjoy.

But after that game I took a break because that game gave me so much stress (I thought Uncharted was suppose to be fun?) Then people were talking about the newely released Uncharted 4 that came out. So I needed to check that out. BESIDES graphics it seemed like another  unfair Uncharted game like the 1st uncharted. But people said the 1st Uncharted was way different than the rest so I decided to play Uncharted 2..........

So this is where I knew Uncharted was NOT my type of game at all. Yeah sure Uncharted 2 was easier (better) than the 1st game but it still didn't give me fun (even though thats what I paid for). Like i was STILL running out of ammo, and whenever I got ammo IT WASN'T for the same gun I had. The bad guys always were hiding away and it made it very stressful to kill them while others came out of hiding and starts shooting you. It's pretty much like playing Hit the Weasels with the hammer or something. The story was alright I guess. And I just wasn't hooked on the game at all... It was dull, not exciting, boring and unfair. If you go to my earlier uncharted threat you'll see me explaining further detail on why i dont like Uncharted... So after 2 bad Uncharted experiences I'm not even going to play Uncharted 3 or 4. It felt like I was doing homework playing the first 2 games but I'm done. I learned Uncharted is no Zelda, or The Last of Us... Uncharted is Uncharted...Goodbye Uncharted, I'm sure you're making other millions of players happy. But you're just not my type of game.   I wish you the best of luck in the future.

I was done with uncharted after I played the demo of the first one . Welcome to the club :)

"It was dull, not exciting, boring and unfair"

Really? The set pieces, vivid graphics, and all the different locales, yet it's boring? I don't think we were playing the same game. Also, I don't think you can fault the enemies from HIDING from you, but how dare they.

I would really like to know what difficulty you have been playing on. If you are playing on normal mode and the game is too hard for you, then you might need to up your shooting game. Don't get so frustrated over dying.

I also don't understand the logic behind easy=fun. Really?
I only find a game fun if it's challenging, I guess we're opposites.
