I don't believe it for a second, they can't just add VR now

If we entertain his idea to be true for a second then what type of VR would Nintendo use? Will they use 3rd party VR like Oculus, Samsung etc. Or will they create their own? I doubt they can make their own VR system and have enough games by March next year, and I doubt it will be powerful enough for Oculus and Samsung Gears VR only works on Samsung phones.

It would be very hard to add VR to the console at the last minute, unless it is an add-on like PSVR.

False adding VR this late would delay the launch and they've already ruled out VR for now.

So there will be shortages at launch... They're doing it on purpose to create hype!!!

I can confirm that this is fake! Nintendo is not interrested in VR because of several problems that VR has.

I always wondered how much impact that Iwata had on the low tech cheap approach the last two gens and was everyone at Nintendo for that. Were there some who wanted to match Sony and Microsoft? What were the views of the new president( will remember his name one of these days)? Has Nintendo started a newer path since Iwata's death?

They speak of "add VR fonctions" that could be selling separately...

Don't forget Nintendo make 3D games since 6 to 8 years...
N3DS have tracking système, front caméra follow head and adapt 3D...
Nintendo knows mouvements détections technologie...
Virtuaboy use projectors système (not screens)

Nintendo works since alone on VR technologie, if they are including it on NX, I think they could do à very good thing...
