Strategy to me was brought through the items in Mario Party. I guess I'm more of an old school player. 1-7 were the good ones to me. The new ones are much more dumbed down.

Atleast the gameplay looks better, no car and you can move wherever, but that board looks bland and minigames seem scarce still.

Sure but it still isn't like Mario Party 2 or any of 1-7. I'll be at peace once they listen and make an HD Mario party like the older games. Like maybe a game in the style of Mario Party 2 where everyone has costumes or something. I've given up on Mario Party a long time ago. This just cements my choice.

Yep Nintendo knows what the Mario Party game we all want is but just doesn't give it to us.

Yep Nintendo knows what the Mario Party game we all want is but just doesn't give it to us.

They seem to think we get depressed every time its not our turn on the board or something...

I think so.I think I have read/heard somewhere that they are going to show it a bit more today, but Im not sure.

So MH:Generations is just what I've expected. Sold. Next Dragon Quest VII! Let's see if we get an official date (or did I miss it? XD). And, yeah, I'm mostly waiting for Paper Jam, so I can finally say it's probably garbage and move on XD. Still avoiding Zelda to keep myself spoiler-free (although my best friend is so excited that I think it was really great :P).

EDIT: So, no release date for DQVII? :(. It looks gorgeous.
