I just thought we needed an Uncharted update.

Sony should drop the price of the PS4 this coming October because MS will have Gears 4 and they also might bundle Battlefield 1 with the new slim that month.

They need to drop the Price because the console launched in 2013 for 400US$ and still is 350US$ after 3 years.

They will have VR, The Last Guardian on October and Gran Turismo on november.

VR won't do much for those that just got a ps4 with would cost like $750 for new owners to get a ps4 and a psvr system. The Last guardian won't do much compared to gears. 

We are talking software wise, maybe The Last Guardian will be able to sell more consoles for new comers than Gears of War 4, also Gears of War  4 will be on the PC ,and this will hurt the hardware sales of  the Xbox One in some way.

Yeah, Gears will be huge and sell consoles. I said the same thing with Halo but that was a bit of a surprise just how much Halo didn't shift Xbox Ones. Gears might be MS's new champion for biggest IP.
