Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Am I the only one that likes Tony Hawks Downhill Jam

Just wondering - no reason why, as I've had my Wii since launch that pretty much meant I was buying every wii game at first once Zelda was completed trying to find great games.  One of the games I sill own and was playing yesterday actually is Tony Hawks Downhil Jam.

What a game IMO - such a shame this didn't catch on with it'simple tight controls, fast challenging addictive gameplay and a huge challenge mode that due to it's bad sales we wont see a sequel as this is the way the series should go on the Wii.

Anyone else played and have any opinions on this game?

I'll say this. Downhill Jam was at least a refreshing change of pace in a series otherwise that's more then run it's course in my opinion. Aside from that it okay, and I doubt Activison will revisit it since they're fine with constantly abusing they're already established and done to death formula for the Tony Hawk games. =P

Most likely, never played it myself.

Nintendo still doomed?

I liked the first one ... LOVE the second ... third one was really good too ... but then ... it began to feel repetitive ... so i didn't give downhill the benefit of the doubt ...
