The issue with the runners is that it only happens... sometimes. I feel like the number of them spawning is random, and sometimes you're just very unlucky and get a bunch at once. I the latter happens to me more often and just gets really annoying.

I'm surprised we didn't really get 2 chefs as well. The other session I had, most of the time, it was 2 of them. This game is just really random overall... I think I'll end up having shorter sessions with this as well, since leveling to 4 start missions will take a long while. There's also another issue I recall with the game. Later on, when you level up the game gives you so few points to use in the skill tree. The level I got gave me 2 points, which let me upgrade 1 thing, and there are a lot of things you can upgrade. Makes it hard to branch out into other different skills that would be nice to have.

I'm sure there are other issues, but I can't think of any at the moment. But yeah, I'm down for more later. The rounds we had were overall pretty great, and we had some great, but weird partners, like one of them focusing on guns with Sayuri. That's such a weird thing to do with that

The leveling up is just overall weird. They sometimes give you 3 points or 2 points. Then throw 10 at you every 5th level. But a lot of the runner is random, which is probably why they overwhelm at times. It's a weird situation.

I got so worried when that level 25 joined. He ended up being good. Considering he was 37 years old, I imagine he had more of a brain that some of the kids we get. Knew how to level up and work his weapons.

I figured that was for every time you reached the next rank of missions, but I hope it is at every 5 levels. I can't live off of a few points every level...

How did you know he was 37 though? o_O

I dont understand why you gave the game only a 4.5 if you think the gameplay is addicting?

I didnt want to reach level 10 yet but i played it more than i have excepted for a free to play game. I defeniatley can see the game getting better but i dont have time, there alot of unfinished games in my backlog

There are about 12 billion games on PC in the same category and about half of them look better than this game.  If a herd of small indie teams can do better, so can Bandai Namco.  There isn't much excuse for this kind of effort.

Yeah but they ignored the Wii U so they allready failed their costumers in that regard. And i do think the graphics and the character artstyle looks better than in most MMO/Free To Play games. Espacially the cute Japanese girl :)

Yeah, this game is a hot mess, and just broken sometimes. I'm surprised you didn't mention how the game can randomly screw you over with over spawning runners to overwhelm and kill the whole team. I think it happened a few times with us.

The game really could use more levels, otherwise it just gets very boring playing the same 2 levels. If it had like at least 5, it would be better, and leveling just takes too long at around lvl 30. I think in our long recent playthrough, I only got one level, and we played for a good while...

Surprisingly though, there were some shining moments, like when we had to beat those 2 undead cops grouped together while avoiding runners. We had a good team as well, haha...

There is def something good in this mess if more time was put into the game. At least there was another level added to the Japanese version, so we should get it at some point. And having a good full team makes for a better time, as opposed to way under leveled babies...

And I would 2nd recommend NEVER spending money on this game. It is not worth it at all.

This is true for every game having Microtransactions tough

Another good review. Thumbs up, cycycychris!

Yeah is mostly a piece of shit tbh. Not too bad for a F2P game though, is fun for a while, wich is something, but I can understand that score.

I have it, but have been too busy to play.

Scored about how I imagined. I think I tried the Beta though. Obviously not rememberable.

Is that a word? Not in my spellcheck.

memorable

Cool review btw Chris, I was thinking it looked so good from the screen shots but yeah... bad frame rate going to take away the nice ness from those shots pretty damn fast, still though free to play, might give it a download, nothing ventured :)
