Forums - Microsoft - My problem with the Halo series.

The freaking cliffhangesr! As someone who finished Halo 2 when he was like 5 with a friend, I always hated the ending! It took me 9 years to find a cheap Xbox 360 to finish the trilogy with. And guess what else awaited me. ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO CHIEF. It's okay, I said. Halo 4 should be epic! But no, Halo 4 and 5 have garbage plots! Red Vs. Blue is somehow better in expanding the universe! How?!?!?

So anyway, problem with the series is that it has cliffhangers, then has a drop in plot quality after Bungie left.

I've always disliked cliffhangers in games unless it was something episodic like The Walking Dead.

I mean, I finished Soul Reaver on PS1 and the sequel came out YEARS later on another console! How is that fair? People die waiting for part two of these stories. Hell, sometimes a game does poorly and the story never gets closure. Games shouldn't do this.

Bungie plots were quite simplistic and no atmosphere to them.

You mean that you got into the game, and then it ended when you wanted to play more?

The fact that you wanted to play the game so many years later says it the best.

Also, you might have a hard time with Game of Thrones. So many cliff hangers.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!
