"It would look better on PC" is not an argument, because it would also look better on a even stronger PC than you are using for your argument, so your PC is disappointing and weak and therefore shouldnt even be brought up in conversation.

But that even stronger PC would leave PS4 even further behind. High end PCs exist, they don't get to be discounted because they cost more or because there's always a stronger rig.

Fact of the matter is that a substantial segment of the "PC Master Race" is used to gaming on specs above and beyond Uncharted 4's, so it's completely understandable if they are not as wowed by it as console gamers.

When it comes to sheer graphical power, PS4 vs PC simply isn't a fight PS4 can or ever will win.

Yet we don't debate what the hardware "could" do. Also it is a telltale sign that you ommited what else i said when you quoted me.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Do you even own a high-end PC at all?

i have an 2 year olds 1400 dollar pc, is that high end?

star citizen doesnt look better then doom, uncharted 4 looks better then doom, uncharted 4 looks better then star citizen.

Star citizen has alot of other great features, but in terms of graphics its not as good as u4.

A 2 year old $1400 PC isn't what I would call high-end, so no.

The rest is all personal opinion, you still haven't provided any technical reasonings.

The game looks very good. But I think Doom looks better. id Tech 6, hard to beat.

Good shout, Doom is a gorgeous game to look at and play.

Uncharted looks great. It's not an open world game. Not every detail has gotten as much attention as the next.
Yeah, it impressed me. But so does FF14.

Any game on console is graphically better because my tv is bigger than my monitor.
Any game on console is more pleasing because my couch is more comfortable than my chair.

1) You can use a PC on your TV. And thus use your TV as a monitor.

2) You can use a PC with a couch. (Couches tend not to be tied to any specific technology.)

Steam has a "Big Picture Mode" so that you can browse and play your PC games library with a standardised controller on your TV just like you would any other console, so it's really not a "selling point" anymore for consoles.

But your technical reasoning is my pc is way more powerfull so this game is better. Dosent make much sens either. Then someone with lower end rig than yours, the same game is crap?

Then what happens if naughty dog decides to put uncharted 4 on pc, will it sudenly become the best game technically cuz it can be played on your rig? Or someone shows you world of warcraft on a pc 10x better than yours and makes star citizen look like garbage in comparison, does it make that 15 year old game better?

Im not saying that you need to downscale setting to match what the ps4 can do. Just saying that because your pc can make a crappy game look better, does not mean the base game is any good. Im ovbiously only talking about the technical aspects.

I think what makes a game technically impresive is what the devs base progaming can do. upscale it how much you want, but the base game has to look good or at high settins it will still look unimpresive. this is why uncharted is at least for me a biger technological leap than any other game.

People mistake 4K with "better graphics". Just because PC CAN hit 4K, doesn't mean ANY PC developer make games that really fully utilize their potential. CONSOLE games are where all the money is.

If Naughty Dog developed Uncharted 4 for PC, it would look EVEN better but, as it stands right now, no current PC game can touch it. There just isn't the money in it for developers. The only thing Uncharted 4 is really hindred by is that 30fps on the campaign.

Actually the money is more on mobile than console if you really want to get with the profit margins, no arguing that juggernaut at all.

Besides this debate has gotten to a point where it's become fruitless, where one side argues their game is better than anything PC could possibly offer and the other side saying their one other game is better than what the other system has.

to add to the fruitless debate. the games that make money on mobile are not the same games that make money on consoles and pc, while the games that make more money on consoles are the same games on pc.  :p
