Not believable... next rumour.

I think NX will have some sort of streaming/cloud function, but not entirely so.

This does not appear to answer to a market trend or consumer needs.

The threat is the death of home consoles in the next generation, and with it the loss of revenues from software distribution / publishing / platform fees; coming from more modular pcs and short lived mobile phones.

A upgradeable modular console platform, where user can add Ram, upgrade cpu/gpu, practically every 12 months could be a serious resistance against that menace. And this is where they are going with the Nintendo eXpandable platform project.

Of course software price is still an issue.

I've heard a rumour, but please take it with a grain of salt.

The NX will actually be made of cake, lovely cake... it won't do streaming and will be subscription based, with additional cake purchases required to continue playing it.

If done well I'd buy it.

Doubt it with the rumours of also having cartridges, unless the NX is like Playsation 3 & 4 with physical/digital/streaming.
