Forums - Nintendo - Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn discussion thread: stats, characters etc.

EDIT: @Gamerace

The DS is getting a remake of the first FE ever - the one with Marth. Other than that, no idea.

And hey guys: We made it to 8 pages! Must be the game with the highest posts/sales ratio!

Brawl has more than 222 pages over the 2 threads, afraid Brawl hasn't sold more than 13.5M yet.

Personally I haven't used BEXP (Bonus Experience Points) until the finals. I had an insane amount of BEXP btw, forgot how much exaqctly (it's probably somewhere in this thread). Don't use it too much, especially not on Ike's team, cause they'll probably max out (reach level 20 twice) anyway. Now I think of it, don't use it until maybe you get to play with Micaiahs team again and only if some people are very understatted and it's hard (Leonardo could use some, but you get 2 way better archers later). Most units should be able to level on their own, which is preferable. Do however use one level up with BEXP on your main characters. You'll gain stat bonusses that way.
The finals are quite tough, you need everyone at the very least around level 16 of the third class to survive. I'd use BEXP then.

Actually, I believe Leonardo deals more damage (he did far, far more for me) than Shinon/Rolf, he is just a bit easy to kill. With the 3 range, however, he won't get hit a lot if you tank, so if correctly used, he could be better than the other two.

Maybe you need that high levels on hard, but on medium, I didn't have a single unit above 12 (except for Rolf + Leo + Ike at 15) when I started the endgame, and it was smooth through until the final boss. All you need is 2 double tank teams, and lower levels are fine. (The reason I had such low levels might have been using Ike + Micaiah's start teams only (with a few exceptions), instead of adding in the lion folks and such (other than the obligatory)

@ WoW & Mise - Thanks as always for the good advice.

Do you guys think there will be another FE on Wii? Or is this it for this generation? (Yes, I know I can get the gamecube version - if I can find it)

Radiant Dawn sold about 500.000 which is quite successful for a SRPG, so I do think we'll see another Wii FE. Especially since this one came so early in the Wii's lifecycle.
The DS one will be a remake of the first FE, definitely a must buy (if you have a DS). Just keep looking online for Path of Radiance, it's a very good game.

@ oyvoy: ok ok, besides Brawl then. But that's not really fair competition as it had daily updates for over half a year.

Well, Warhawk beats this one too. 27 pages, but it is tournament or something, so it's a bit cheaty.

Now just imagine if Radiant Dawn had multiplayer.

A multiplayer campaign where each player controlled a different force on the map would be so great... of course a versus mode would be fun too.  Select from your own troops or choose a setting and each player gets characters from a pool...

Do people a favor and post the real site the info the came from next time.  Posting a site that just ripped the info from serenesforest is kind of tacky.

O_O......I got the feplanet site from someone posting on gamefaqs, I didn't know it was based on another site T_T...I'll add that site to my favorites now....

I have to ask, who would be the best paladin in the game? I'd think it would be either Titania or Oscar, I doubt it's Fiona though...coming at such a decent level with level 3 like stats is kinda weak...

If you have the patience to train Fiona, she becomes a monster (Paragon also helps). Other than that, Titania is probably the best, followed by Oscar and Kieran.

I'd think babying would take away experience points from other units. Although with Micaiah and Laura, it wouldn't matter because of the Sacrifice and Heal combination. The Paragon helps, but I think it could be given to other units. The other Paladins don't really hog exp and level up just fine. (Except for maybe Astrid)
